In each division, awards will be allocated on a state-wide basis as follows:

for all other students |
All participating students will receive a certificate signed by a representative from the University of New South Wales.
In addition, top students in each division will receive monetary prizes. Prizes are:
- $50
- $75
- $100
- $250 (state winner)
- $500 (national winner)
State and national winners will also receive engraved trophies.
Finally, to recognise exceptional students the Medal of Excellence is awarded to students who attain a perfect score in either of the Competitions.
